VCF Lens is a private, on-device learning tool for reviewing markers found in user-selected VCF files.

The app is not medical software. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or predict any disease or health condition.

• You are responsible for the VCF files you import and for having the right to use them.
• Use VCF Lens only with data that belongs to you or that you are allowed to review.
• Do not send genome files to the developer when asking for support.

• VCF Lens can import .vcf, .vcf.gz, and .bgz files selected by the user.
• VCF Lens scans local files against a bundled marker catalog and stores results locally in the app container.
• No account is required.
• VCF import is free in this version.

• The bundled marker catalog is a learning aid derived from public scientific data sources.
• Annotations, frequencies, clinical signals, and evidence summaries may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.
• VCF Lens does not include a full reference genome, does not perform liftover, and does not verify file coverage, sample quality, or lab quality.
• You should not make medical, treatment, family, insurance, employment, or safety decisions based on VCF Lens results.

The marker catalog may include annotations derived from public resources. Source terms and availability can change over time.

• Do not use VCF Lens to violate another person's privacy, rights, or applicable law.
• Do not use VCF Lens with genetic data unless you have clear permission to access and review that data.

The app, marker catalog, supported file types, and these terms may change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

VCF Lens is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. The developer does not guarantee that results are accurate, complete, available, or suitable for any specific purpose.
